Aparna Krishnan (Professor Mahesh Sankaran's Lab) and Disha Kshirsagar (Dr Sabarinathan Radhakrishnan Lab), graduate students at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru have been selected this year for the Hindustan Unilever (HUL) fellowship for women students in STEM.
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) sponsors fellowships in STEM for women researchers for pursuing research in the areas aligned with the four Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — Health & Hygiene; Clean Water & Sanitation; Nutrition & Fortification and Climate Action & Sustainability.
This fellowship supports the recipients with a monthly stipend of INR 70,000 per month and annual contingency of INR 2,00,000.
They were felicitated at an award event held at HUL's R&D campus in Bengaluru.
