We are excited to share that Prof. Krushnamegh Kunte has been honoured with the Prof. T. N. Ananthakrishnan Senior Scientist Award for his excellence in the field of evolutionary biology, the biology of butterflies, and insect systematics and taxonomy. He has also engaged a wider group of people beyond his lab through citizen science initiatives.
Prof. Kunte leads the Biodiversity Lab at TIFR-NCBS. His work focuses on natural selection theory, genetics, population and community ecology, and conservation biology.
