I was saddened to learn of

I was saddened to learn of Krishnan's demise. I vividly recall the (sadly few) interactions I had with him while visiting NCBS - in particular, I can picture him describing his seaside search for molluscs in relation to his quest for ion channel blockers. I wish I had gotten to known him better. Condolences to those dear to him.
