We are really shocked to hear about the passing away of Professor Obaid Siddiqi so soon. We expected that he would lead us for several years to come. We were initiated in Molecular Biology by him in 1962. We fondly knew him as GURUJI. Indeed he was a great mentor and guide through all these years to us. We will indeed remember him and miss him.
