NCBS teams up with NGOs for MSc in wildlife course
The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) has partnered with The Habitat Trust (THT) and the National Conservation Foundation (NCF) to offer an MSc programme in wildlife biology and conservation.

MSc Wildlife program gains new partners
The Habitats Trust and the Nature Conservation Foundation join NCBS to support and partner in the MSc Program in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. The unique program is a partnership between academic institutions and conservation NGOs. With a mission to build capacity for the conservation of India’s wildlife and natural ecosystems through high-quality training, the program is now working towards a consortium of partners to deliver and widen its mandate.

Two MSc Wildlife Alumni bag prestigious awards
Nishant Srinivasaiah (MSc 2010-12)
The Carl Zeiss Wildlife Conservation Award recognizes outstanding contribution to wildlife conservation in India. His work on elephant conservation in the South India landscape have earned him this award. Nishant is presently doing his PhD at NIAS, with Dr Anindya Sinha. -
NCBS Students Grab Three Awards at SPEEC-UP 2018
31st August 2018 saw the second iteration of Student Presentations on Ecology, Environment & Conservation—or SPEEC-UP as it is aptly named—one-day conference with three-minute talks by budding young scientists.
