A scan of hand-made painting, poster colors, yr 2011 Sufia Sadaf. Nature has chosen 'Mother' as the greatest gift for a child. He plays in mud, spoils his cloths, and yet remains her Darling. We all are made of clay, and will return to the soils. Earthen, indeed.

Far away, in ignorance, it becomes a ‘cup-bearer’ in the sad nights It adds up drink after drink in the dried-up glasses And from numerous slits, these rose plants Blossom to redness, when the dew falls, drop-by-drop And all of a sudden, it stalls, all worried It isn’t just a dew-drop or a rain-drop It has the heat of a blazing flame It has, altogether, several secrets of the past At its sight, the moon weeps every night..
